Overview
"Inner Magic Unbound" was developed in response to a brief to create a mascot for Vega that embodies the institution’s vibrant and innovative personality. The goal was to design a character and narrative that appeals to creative students while reflecting Vega’s hands-on, exploratory approach to education.
Alongside the mascot, I crafted a short 2D animation to bring the character to life and showcase their personality and story. The project highlights the imaginative spirit and individuality of Vega, creating a relatable and inspiring figure for prospective students.
About Sage
Sage is a young, aspiring witch dedicated to mastering both academic and practical skills in the mystic arts. Their name is inspired by the Sage archetype, which represents wisdom, self-reflection, and a deep understanding of life’s mysteries.
Like the archetype, Sage is driven to learn, grow, and share knowledge to help others achieve their goals. Through their journey—filled with triumphs, unexpected outcomes, and plenty of learning—Sage mirrors the experience of a Vega student, embodying curiosity, resilience, and the transformative power of education.
